DC Group Training Programs
Are you new to running a longer race distance or coming back after an extended break? Do you consider yourself a middle to back-of-the-pack runner who is looking to improve their speed? Have you struggled with injury and want to change up your training? Are you looking for a supportive community with a coach who will push you to reach your goals? Marathon training program
This program is for anyone running a fall marathon. It meets on Thursday evening and Saturday morning, with the option of adding Tuesday evening. Participants should be able to run 5-6 miles (at any pace) before the first practice on June 28.
half marathon training program
This program is for anyone running a 10 mile race or half marathon in the fall.* It meets on Tuesday & Thursday evening, with the option of adding Saturday morning. Participants should be able to run 3-4 miles (at any pace) before the first practice on July 10.
tuesday intervals + core
This option is for anyone who isn't training for a longer race, but wants to increase their running speed & strength. It meets on Tuesday evening. Participants should have some prior running experience, but all paces and levels are welcome.
*Note that the half marathon program can also be selected if you're training for a full marathon, but you already have a long run crew/you prefer to run long on Sundays/you're out of town on most weekends/other circumstances prevent you from coming to the Saturday long runs (but you still want group track and tempo runs).

And she is always looking for ways to do better. Perhaps most important, Tammy treats everyone seriously, no matter their age (I just turned 70) or ability level.
